Here's a little about myself and how I got started...
Back in 1998 ...
I was a stay at home Mom of 4 (2 his, 1 mine, and 1 ours) in our blended family and busier than a person ought to be. Yet we needed more income desperately, and I was fascinated with the internet.
My first website was with Geocities, and it was dedicated to Alzheimer victims and caregivers. My Dad was a victim, and as I conducted my own research to learn as much as possible on the subject, I decided it would be nice to share what I had found. I was passionate about the subject, and it opened up a whole new world of creativity for me.
Soon, my little website was listed on many directories, and even included in a book written as a resource for medical information. How proud was I!!
I decided to take a stab at learning html code, and discovered it was a breeze. I designed my first website with a domain name in 1998, and I have never looked back. I still enjoy the process of brainstorming, creating content, and learning new and innovative design techniques.
Fast forward to 2006 and I find myself a divorced Mother with one teen still at home, and struggling to make ends meet. I have a "real" job now, part-time, and my New Year's Resolution is to immerse myself into the creative sphere once again and build my design business not only back to what it once was, but to make it better than ever!
I look forward to getting to know many new friends as I help them start or recreate their website, domain name, and internet presence.
